The GAHD® HemoOne® Hb testing and Hct testing are based on the measurement of electrical current generated by the reaction of Hb and Hct with the enzymes and reagents of the test strip. The test meter measures the electrical current and displays a corresponding Hb or Hct levels. The strength of the electrical current produced by the reaction depends on the amount of Hb or Hct levels in the whole blood sample.
